STADIUM

Have you ever watching football game in a full crowded stadium?      If yes, you most probably know the feeling when your team scoring goal or winning a match. The feeling is very special for me as you will celebrate together with all the people with you even you didn't know them! As a football lover, i already visited some of the stadium in Malaysia and i also manage to play in some of the famous stadium in Malaysia when i play in the President Cup back then.       It was such a special memory and experiences for me. For me, every stadium in world have their fans and their own values to some people. Here in this blog, i would like to share some stadium around the globe that have value and seem to be iconic in my own eyes. SO, stay tuned !!                  stay tuned! ☺☺☺

OLD TRAFFORD STADIUM

Old Trafford is a football stadium in Old Trafford, Manchester England. In the first decade of the 20th century, Manchester United played their home matches at a 50,000-stadium at Bank Street, when then president Davies began planning for a new stadium with double that capacity. A site was chosen near Trafford Park industrial estate, and architect Archibald Leitch was appointed to design the stadium .       For me, Old Trafford is iconic stadium for me even though i am Liverpool supporter. This is because of the capacity of this stadium that can reach to 74,877 making it as the largest club stadium in United Kingdom. Its also the eleventh-largest in Europe. The stadium capacity was been upgrade throughout decades.  This stadium also been called as "The Theatre of Dreams" by the club legends, Bobby Charlton.  With former manager Sir Alex Ferguson recently leaving his post, Manchester United look set to embark on a new era. ANFIELD STADIUM

Anfield is a football stadium in Anfield, Liverpool which located at Merseyside, England. The stadium has a seating capacity of 54,074, making it as a seventh largest football stadium in England. Even the stadium did not have a large capacity compare to other stadium but still it is a iconic and famous stadium in world. Anfield is the homeground for the most successful club in English history of football, Liverpool FC. The electric atmosphere during games is the reason for its well known. For me, the legendary atmosphere at Anfield known throughout the world makes the home of Liverpool one of the greatest in world.       As one of the supporters of this club, its a dream to go there one day. As i said, the atmosphere at Anfield is the reasons that makes this stadium iconic and for me to experience itself on my own there. Home to the Reds, who have won six European Cup titles, Anfield is always a treat for members of visiting teams, though it continue to instil fear into any opposition.

ESTADIO AZTECA STADIUM

Estadio Azteca is a multi-purpose stadium located in Mexico City. It is the official home of football club, Club America and Cruz Azul. As for capacity, the stadium also is the home for the Mexico National football team. The stadium sits at an altitude of 2,200m above sea level. For me, there are several factors that making this stadium as one of the most famous and iconic stadium in world:  STADIUM CAPACITY      The Estadio Azteca currently has a official seats capacity of 87,523 making it the largest stadium in Mexico. However, what surprise me the most is the initial capacity of the stadium. This stadium was opened in 1966 with a capacity of 115,000 seats. For me, its a huge capacity and will offer a electric atmosphere when full. This is a big and monster place in my own eyes. Due to the safety measures, during 2000s the capacity has been brought back into around 100,000. ALLIANZ ARENA STADIUM

    Allianz Arena Stadium is a football stadium located in Munich, Germany. The stadium come with a capacity of 75,024 seats during national games and 70,000 seats during domestic games.  Widely known for its exterior of inflated  ETFE plastic panels , it is the first stadium in the world with a full colour changing exterior. Red for Bayern and White for National team, Germany. This stadium also is the 2nd largest stadium in Germany behind Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund.      Whats make this stadium iconic for me is the colour of the Stadium can change according to home side which is Bayern Munchen and Germany National Team.  It is the only stadium across Europe that is able to change colours to reflect which of the playing.          This stadium have been host some world major football tournament which are 2006 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League Final 2012, and UEFA European Cup. WEMBLEY STADIUM

     Wembley Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Wembley, London.  It reopened in 2007 on the site of the original Wembley Stadium  which was demolished from 2002 to 2003. The stadium host major football matches including home matches for England national football team.     The stadium’s 133m high arch has become a new landmark for London and is now instantly recognisable around the world. The new stadium has quickly re-established itself as the home of English football and as the ultimate live event experience. With 90,000 seats, it is the largest stadium in England and 2nd largest stadium in Europe. The new Wembley stadium seem to be iconic for as its the only stadium that hosting  UEFA Champions League Final for two times in last decade during 2011 and 2013 final.                                 The UEFA Champions League Final 2011 and 2013 wins by FC Barcelona (SPAIN) and FC Bayern Munchen (Germany). BUKIT JALIL NATIONAL STADIUM

     The Bukit Jalil  National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, located at the National Sport Complex . The  National Sport Complex housing a numbers of stadium, parks, and courts for different type of sport. While it’s open to the public daily, operational hours depend on the event that are taking place at the venue’s many stadiums and sports centres. The Bukit Jalil stadium was built for the 1998 Commonwealth Games.      For me, i have been there for numerous time watching football game and still excited me especially during full house game. The yellow black seat painted have give the moral support for the players during game as the color matching with their jersey.       The biggest stadium within this complex is the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, which accommodates up to 100,000 people at a time. However, for the safety precaution it only can be open to capacity of 87,411 making it 2nd biggest in Southeast Asia and 11th largest football stadium in world. It is  home venue for the Malaysia n
