ALLIANZ ARENA STADIUM

Allianz Arena Stadium is a football stadium located in Munich, Germany. The stadium come with a capacity of 75,024 seats during national games and 70,000 seats during domestic games. Widely known for its exterior of inflated ETFE plastic panels, it is the first stadium in the world with a full colour changing exterior. Red for Bayern and White for National team, Germany. This stadium also is the 2nd largest stadium in Germany behind Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund.

Whats make this stadium iconic for me is the colour of the Stadium can change according to home side which is Bayern Munchen and Germany National Team. It is the only stadium across Europe that is able to change colours to reflect which of the playing.

This stadium have been host some world major football tournament which are 2006 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League Final 2012, and UEFA European Cup. However, whats make this stadium snap into my iconic stadium list is because during the UEFA Champions League Final 2012 between Chelsea and Bayern Munchen! Their own stadium. However, the game did not end well for Bayern Munchen as the homeside defeat and Chelsea become champions.

Luminous exterior

The arena facade is constructed of 2,874 ETFE-foil air panels that are kept inflated with dry air to a differential pressure of 3.5 Pa. The panels appear white from far away but when we examined closely, there are little dots on the panels. When viewed close up however, it is possible to see through the foil. The foil has thickness of 0.2 mm. Each panels can be independently lit with white, red, or blue light. The panels are lit for each game with the colours of the respective home team-red for Bayern Munich and white for the Germany national football team.

The Bukit Jalil stadium was built for the 1998 Commonwealth Games.      For me, i have been there for numerous time watching football game and still excited me especially during full house game. The yellow black seat painted have give the moral support for the players during game as the color matching with their jersey.       The biggest stadium within this complex is the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, which accommodates up to 100,000 people at a time. However, for the safety precaution it only can be open to capacity of 87,411 making it 2nd biggest in Southeast Asia and 11th largest...

OLD TRAFFORD STADIUM

Old Trafford is a football stadium in Old Trafford, Manchester England. In the first decade of the 20th century, Manchester United played their home matches at a 50,000-stadium at Bank Street, when then president Davies began planning for a new stadium with double that capacity. A site was chosen near Trafford Park industrial estate, and architect Archibald Leitch was appointed to design the stadium .       For me, Old Trafford is iconic stadium for me even though i am Liverpool supporter. This is because of the capacity of this stadium that can reach to 74,877 making it as the largest club stadium in United Kingdom. Its also the eleventh-largest in Europe. The stadium capacity was been upgrade throughout decades.  This stadium also been called as "The Theatre of Dreams" by the club legends, Bobby Charlton.  With former manager Sir Alex Ferguson recently leaving his post, Manchester United look set to embark on a new era. One thing's for sure, however:...

Even the stadium did not have a large capacity compare to other stadium but still it is a iconic and famous stadium in world. Anfield is the homeground for the most successful club in English history of football, Liverpool FC. The electric atmosphere during games is the reason for its well known. For me, the legendary atmosphere at Anfield known throughout the world makes the home of Liverpool one of the greatest in world.       As one of the supporters of this club, its a dream to go there one day. As i said, the atmosphere at Anfield is the reasons that makes this stadium iconic and for me to experience itself on my own there.
